RAAPSRA was formed in December 2004 to promote the interests of the residents of two Moss Side streets (Roberts Avenue and Playfair Street). In our short history, we have already achieved many successes. We worked with Manchester City Council to hold two community clean-up days and to provide hanging baskets for every resident. We have also worked with Adactus and Manchester City Council to get each property treated for pests. In addition we have raised funds for the association by successfully holding two table top sales. We feel that all of this has helped bring our community together.
