Adactus are running an environmental grants scheme for individual tenants or groups of tenants to apply for money for community projects. The application process is simple and easy and our Regeneration Officer can assist you in planning your project and putting your application together.
Grants will be awarded for 'green ideas' to improve your environment, save energy, recycle, etc. We will fund all or part of your project-up to £1000.
Here are some examples.........
Cleaning up and greening a neglected space that belongs to your community
Recycling projects… bins/composters/wormeries
Community garden tools with secure storage and booking system
Creating a nature area to encourage wildlife such as butterflies, birds, insects or hedgehogs
Energy saving equipment
Arts projects
Tree planting
The deadline for applications is 1st February 2008 so go on get thinking!
