Working Parties are groups of residents and staff who focus on a particular area of the business. Members of the Working Party are invited to attend regular meetings and/or complete consultations either via post or online.

We currently have a number of Working Parties for the following areas:

Repairs & Maintenance (AHA/BHA residents). So far the Repairs & Maintenance Working Party have consulted on Responsive Repairs Issues including revising our Repairs Acknowledgement letter, revising the Responsive Repairs and Pre-Inspection timescales and revising the Service Satisfaction questionnaires. Proposals for changes are due to go to Board soon. The next Repairs and Maintenance Working Party is on Monday 27th October, 1-3pm at Turner House. Jamie Weston, Group Asset Manager will be attending the meeting to talk about our Planned and Cyclical Maintenance programmes.

Income Management (AHA/BHA residents). The Income Management Working Party have so far reviewed areas of our rent arrears Policy and Procedure including the format of arrears letters, payment options available and publicising the Financial Inclusion Service. The next Income Management Working Party meeting will be on Wednesday 05th November 2008, 5-7PM at Turner House, Leigh. Ian Deeley will be attending the meeting to talk to residents about Service Charges.

Scooters & Motorised Wheelchairs. So far the group have looked at the issues involved in developing a policy for the storing of Scooters and Motorised Wheelchairs at our Sheltered Schemes.

Sustainability. The Sustainability Working Party was recently re-launched for 2008 and is made up of residents and staff who have been looking in detail at sustainability issues that affect the Adactus Group and our residents. So far, members of the Working Party have been on a study visit to the Centre for Alternative Technology (Picture) and have consulted on the Group's Sustainability Policy. The next Sustainability working party meeting will be held in November 2008. More details to follow soon.

If you are a resident and would like to be involved in any of the Working Parties, either fill in and submit your details in the box to the right, or contact a member of the Resident Involvement Team on 01942 608715.
